A princess at the temple

A true story...

Mya watched her Grandma Leishman get ready to go to the temple one day. She told her grandma that she wanted to go too. Mya drives by the temple in Rexburg every day and sometimes she sees the "princesses" come out. She wanted to go in the temple and see the princesses.

Mya was told that she could not go to the temple. She insisted over and over that she could! Pretty soon she disappeared. Minutes later she was back - dressed in her princess play clothes. "See grandma, I can go to the temple" Grandma chuckled and said "Mya, you are not old enough to go to the temple, but someday if you make right choices you can go to the temple.

Then Grandma had a great idea, "Mya would you like to go to the temple now and go in the front doors and just a little bit inside? She nodded and smiled.

So when Nanny came to visit, Mya got all dressed in white and went to the temple with her two grandmas! In the front door she went...

She was reverent and walked quietly, looking at everything.
She walked around the temple waiting room, went potty in "Heavenly Father's bathroom" and looked at the pretty pictures of Jesus on the walls. She was very reverent. She also peeked down the halls at the the people dressed in white. She loved every minute of it!
Mya had a great time with her grandmas. One day when she is older and if she follows Heavenly Father's plan for her, she will go to the Temple and be a princess too.
