So this was a pretty tough shot to get, I'm not that great a swimmer.
Wow, the "Oh moms" or "corny Lornie" are pretty loud.
There is a really really long pier that is challenging to walk along when it is really windy, as it was.
Here is the main salon of this grand old hotel. I think this hotel is one Europe's oldest and finest. It sits on the North Sea in a little coastal town where Grandma's family all came from.
Below is the main dining salon and the hight of elegance. They have a slide show going on the wall at all times showing historical photos.
Beach side view of the hotel. We had a corner room that had a fabulous view overlooking the beach and sea. Pricey but worth it, except that I left my favorite light weight dressing gown behind the bathroom door!!

wow~ i feel like i've already been there. can't wait to really go one day.... i can't believe you left your dress, can't you get them to ship it back. i've done that before. you just tell them what you lost and the room it was in......
Ok I guess I need to define "dressing gown" A couple of people have assumed wrong. That's Canadian for "robe".
